Tiimo editorial

Tiimo Just Won iPhone App of the Year. As an ADHD Planner.

500,000 users, 50,000 paying subscribers, and the 2025 Apple App Store iPhone editorial pick. Built specifically for neurodivergent users, which is the unusual part.

In December 2025 Apple named Tiimo iPhone App of the Year at the 2025 App Store Awards, the headline editorial pick across the entire iPhone category. That alone is unusual. Apple has historically rewarded accessibility apps with editorial features but rarely with the year’s top award.

The product is a planner built specifically for ADHD and autistic users. More than 75% of paying subscribers self-identify as neurodivergent. The company reports more than 500,000 active users and around 50,000 paying subscribers (per its August 2024 disclosure), with 3M+ all-time downloads. Two product launches in late 2025 helped: an AI Co-Planner that adapts task structure to executive-function patterns, and State of Mind, a lightweight emotional check-in tied to task completion.

The funding story is small and patient by design. Tiimo closed a $1.6M extension in late 2025, co-led by Crowberry Capital and People Ventures with Sweden’s The Inner Foundation, bringing total raised to roughly $4.8M pre-Series A on top of a 2022 $3.2M seed. By 2025 standards in consumer SaaS, that is an unusually low cash burn for a product at this scale.

What I keep coming back to: Tiimo is one of very few “App of the Year” winners ever to be a Nordic-founded indie. It got there as an accessibility-first product, in a category most VCs dismiss as small. The directory needs more of this. Companies that pick a precise user, build for them obsessively, and prove the user base was bigger than anyone thought.

For Denmark specifically, Tiimo is the design-led consumer answer to the country’s clinical-AI cluster around Corti. Same talent pool, very different product surface, both deeply respected internationally.
