Finance and Accounting Manager

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to join our growing team at Controlant in Wrocław. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of finance and accounting operations in Poland, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with group standards. You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decision-making through analysis and reporting, and coordinating payroll-related processes in collaboration with internal and external partners. This is a hands-on and cross-functional role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, improving processes, and operating in an international environment. Key Responsibilities Finance & Accounting Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with Polish accounting, tax, and statutory requirements Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, tax reports, and statutory filings in line with local and group requirements Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data Support budgeting processes, monitor costs, and analyze financial performance Prepare financial analyses, reports, and management summaries Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and public authorities Manage and improve financial procedures and internal controls Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of accounting and payroll systems Coordinate purchase-related processes and related financial administration Payroll Coordination Coordinate payroll activities, verify data, and oversee outsourced payroll providers Support implementation, maintenance, and optimization of payroll systems (e.g., Insert Nexo, Płatnik, HiBob) Support employee registrations, benefits administration, business trip settlements, and other payroll-related activities Requirements Required Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Practical knowledge of Polish accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements Experience with financial reporting, accounting processes, statutory compliance, and payroll coordination Advanced Excel skills Fluent English (written and spoken) Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Preferred Experience with Insert Nexo, Płatnik, and HiBob systems Experience working in an international environment Experience coordinating outsourced finance and payroll providers Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Experience with process improvements, automation initiatives, or system implementations Proven ability to work independently in broad, cross-functional finance roles About Controlant At Controlant, we value diversity and foster an inclusive work environment.
