Senior Electronics Test Engineer

As a Senior Electronics Test Engineer, you’ll ensure new satellite technologies are fully qualified for production by designing and executing robust test strategies, enabling reliable scaling of ICEYE’s spacecraft manufacturing. Your day-to-day responsibilities Design and execute qualification test plans and campaigns for power, digital, and mixed-signal electronics Develop and maintain test procedures, documentation, and review materials for internal validation Analyze test data, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate results to stakeholders Design and develop test systems, including EGSE, fixtures, and automated test solutions Collaborate with design engineers to improve product robustness and testability Support production and AIT by ensuring test readiness and scalable testing approaches Lead and coordinate testing activities, including mentoring less experienced engineers Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies What are we looking for Must haves: BSc or MSc degree in Electronics Engineering or similar 5+ years of experience in electronics testing, test automation, or related fields Experience leading R&D or technical projects Experience developing automated tests and managing full test development lifecycles Experience designing test jigs and fixtures Experience with microcontroller programming Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium or similar EDA tools Experience with SPICE-based circuit simulation Hands-on experience testing custom electronics using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators Strong problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis of failures Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in multicultural environments Nice to haves: Experience in aerospace, satellite systems, or other high-reliability industries Experience with environmental testing such as thermal or vibration testing Experience scaling test systems for production environments Application Process Recruiter screening Hiring manager interview Technical task Technical panel interview Final interview Working at ICEYE At ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
